My Story
Dr. Samantha Rojas is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience spanning occupational health, primary care, mental health, rehabilitation, and veteran-focused services. She brings a holistic and mission-driven approach to care, combining clinical excellence with deep compassion for the patients she serves.

Dr. Rojas earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of North Florida, following her MSN in Family Practice from the University of Turabo. She holds full autonomous practice licensure in Florida and maintains certifications in ACLS, BCLS, DOT physicals, and buprenorphine prescribing. Her expertise is especially valuable in complex care coordination, veteran disability evaluations, and chronic condition management.

Her clinical background includes serving as a Nurse Practitioner for HCA Lake City Medical Center’s Occupational Health Department, delivering workplace evaluations, injury care, and workers' compensation case management. She has extensive experience in telehealth, long-term care, physical medicine, and mobile diagnostics—having worked independently in home settings, rehabilitation centers, and correctional facilities. She also served in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve as an Intelligence Specialist from 2021 to 2023, further grounding her commitment to supporting military-connected individuals.

At Shield of Odin, Dr. Rojas provides thorough medical evaluations, Nexus Letters, and Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) for veterans pursuing service-connected claims. She is known for her reliability, attention to detail, and strong rapport with both patients and colleagues.
